There are two ways to sign up for the BlogBurst network:
- We are always on the hunt for great blogs to place on high-traffic, high-profile publisher web sites. If we discover your blog we will send you an invitation email with an invite code on it you can use to add your blog to the site.
- You can also give us a heads up by request an invitation to the network. Just go to www.blogburst.com and type your blog’s web address (URL) into the big green box labeled “Get Started” We will check things out and potentially send you an email invitation to join.
Keep an eye out for an invitation from our editors. Once you receive it, return to the BlogBurst site and click on the Redeem Invitation on the upper right corner of the home page.
From there you can fill out some basic information about yourself and enter the long invite code your received in your email invitation. Don’t forget that it is case sensitive. Once you complete this step, you will have access to the blogger workbench.
Next you will actually want to add your blog(s) to the network. Just choose to add a blog from the menus on the blogger workbench and fill out the appropriate fields and our system will sniff out the rest of your blog’s information for you. Edit as you see fit.
Now comes the tricky part. For legitimacy’s sake, we require that you claim (aka verify) your blog. This is done to prevent someone from fraudulently adding in a blog that is not theirs. You will have either two or three choices for this step, depending on your blog platform. See the upcoming post: Verifiying Your Blog for details on this process.
Once you finish this step, our editors will take a last look at your blog to make sure everything is working correctly. Once reviewed, your blog will be activated and available to publishers for pick up.
