Having trouble seeing your avatar once you’ve added it to your profile? Can’t see the image and think, “is something wrong or broken?” Well, worry not, because, although you may not see the image upon uploading it to the system, there is a simple solution. Please hit the refresh button and your image should appear. If it does not appear after trying that first line of defense, simply close your browser and re-open to start fresh. Please contact the BlogBurst support if you are still experiencing difficulty with your image.

When setting up your BlogBurst account, remember to provide us a RSS feed that delivers full blog post content. RSS feeds with full content are the only feeds of value to publishers, who will be more likely to pick up your blog for syndication if they can use your full post. Partial feeds are not of value to the publishers in our network at this time, and we are only here to help you get noticed!

Michelle has a BS in Communications from UC Berkeley and a MS in Marketing from Northwestern University. She currently resides in New York City.

In our continuing effort to keep you informed of the “how” and “what” of BlogBurst, we will frequently post tips or send you back to the important tips and information you need to know. One other thing to note that was not covered in the previous post concerns network members whose blogs contain frames. First the bad news, if your blog contains frames, you will not be able to verify a BlogBurst badge the normal way. The good news, however, is that you can contact our editorial team for guidance, OR try method #3 from our “Verify your blog” post from February.
Whether you are just getting ready to create your profile or have already done so - keep these helpful tips in mind for creating the most easily searchable profile, because you want publishers and our editors to be able to find your blog, promote it and syndicate it, right?!
