Whether you are just getting ready to create your profile or have already done so - keep these helpful tips in mind for creating the most easily searchable profile, because you want publishers and our editors to be able to find your blog, promote it and syndicate it, right?!
Getting to your Blog Profile: Sign into the workbench and click on Edit Blog Profile. Don’t forget to hit the SAVE button when you are finished making your changes.
Tags: Remember to add “tag” words to your profile. Tags are like keywords or categories that you establish to identify your blog.
Keywords: Keywords in the description that help the publishers clearly understand your blog’s subject are “key.” For instance, if you write about food, make sure to add the word food in your description.
Local/Metro: Where are you from? Publishers want to know. Especially, because many of our publishers are interested in using blogs that talk about the great things in their respective cities. So, whether you are from Baltimore, MD or Ft. Meyers, FL, please make sure to select the appropriate metro area for your profile.
Topics: Like keywords and tags, don’t forget to check which topics are relevant to your blog.
Comments, Summary: These are big text boxes where you add your information about your blog, and they are extremely important to how your blog gets organized and found or promoted to publishers.
Blog Image (Avatar): Having a 75×75 pixel blog image on your profile is extremely helpful because it offers an important visual identifier that makes it easy to remember and find in the system.
This look like the next step in blog evolution.
I think i might give it a try.
We’ll keep the lights on for you.
