This past week, the Austinist and Pluck joined forces to gather local bloggers together for beer, merriment and a slap-happy good time. As Pluck learned from our SXSW party last year, bloggers and Internet junkies can party likes it’s 1999.
Although our gathering this time was lots smaller, we had a nice turn out and truly enjoyed meeting some of Austin’s bloggers. We are planning to mimic this type of happy hour in other cities, so if you would like us to plan one in your locale, please contact blogburst-editors@pluck.com. I’m just 2 hours away from Las Vegas. How about hosting a shindig there?
We are defintely going to expand the meet ups as we travel across the country for trade shows, etc. Next cities on the list are New York and Washington DC, but our plan is to try and bring our bloggers together wherever possible over time
By the way, everyone on the editorial staff here at Pluck volunteered for both the Vegas meet up and the Bahamas meet up when we get them on the schedule! Fancy that.
