Pluck Social Media Trends Show Increased Consumption by Business Audiences

Pluck just published a new press release focused on how business audiences are responding to social media. The growth of this audience, known for being on the more cautious side of content, is a clear indication of growing comfort around social media for a business audience compared to just a year ago.

I would like to see more posts with details about how the business publishers utilize Sitelife to add content to their own sites.

From a bloggers perspective this is somewhat of a mystery — how much of the process is automated, and is there any editorial work-flow involved?

Are my weekend blog posts — on Saturday or Sunday — less likely to be syndicated to publisher sites? Is there a cut-off period on Friday?

    Hi David,

There’s a few different ways that publisher’s can access blogs:
    1) All blogs are accessible to every publisher. Blogs are grouped by content category to make them more easily assessable.
    2) We bundle blogs of similar content together for kind of “one stop shopping” for publisher’s. They can use the bundle on a stand alone basis or they can individual blogs based on their own searches.
    3) Twice a day, five days a week the BlogBurst Editorial Team reads the most current posts and provide kind of an “editor’s picks” to our publishing partners.
    4) Bonus coverage–Periodically, we do featured “editor’s picks” for publisher’s on a seasonal or topical interest. For instance, right now we have special wires running on: Thanksgiving Recipes, Pakistan, Norman Mailer, Immigration Issues, and Fantasy Football.

Unless there’s a breaking news story, we don’t do “editor’s picks” on the weekends. However, all of the opportunities for weekend pick-up are still available.
